BMW Bavarian Motor Works was founded in Germany 1916 by a German Automobile Company first they have started producing Aircraft engines but after World War 1 they shifted towards automobiles manufacturing in 1928. At start they launched BMW 319/1 Model in 1935, BMW 3/15 "Dixi", BMW 319 4-Door Cabriolet in 1936.So, that the journey begins with these models later on BMW Introduced E-series code cars stands for “evolution” like E12, E21, E23, E28 etc which signifies the BMW Current Models 1 series (2004), 3 series, 5 series, 6 series, 7 series, 8 series, Z3, Z4,Z8, X3, X5, X6. After Evolution Models BMW will shift their models to F-Models “Future Models” and it will be going to implement in this year 2009 to onward.
Currently BMW has Rover Mini & Rolls Royse as its subsidiaries. BMW also manufactured Motorbikes (with K series) and bicycles. BMW cars are ranked No1 worldwide and maintaining its position with luxury and high performance cars. BMW is directly competing with Mercedes Benz, Audi (Volks Wagon), Lexus (Toyota) and Acura (Honda). Now a day’s BMW has round about 107,500 employees working all over the world to their plants.BMW Head Quarters is in Munich Germany equipped with the ultra high technology machineries and highly skilled staff. That’s not all about BMW it will continue with the creativity commitment and quality. Lastly it can be said like that, BMW will die if creativity expires…So, hats off to that “Ultimate Driving Machine”
