Audi Q5

Baby’ brother of Q7 has finally launched in the market and it intended to grab the market share. Audi have had a long assosiation with off roders the quattro system has created some of the most memorable sports cars in its history but for some years the Audi has tried to put his efforts in SUVs. The newest arrival to benefit the consumers is the Q5. As with the Q7, the car is delayed to the esteem 4x4 party main rival BMW’s X3 came up in the market five years ago. With prices from less than £30,000, the SUV sits above the A4 in the line-up, yet it shares a lot with the executive car. At the front is a big chrome-ringed grille and familiar lights (S line versions get LED daytime running lamps), while the A4 Avant-on-stilts shape mixes Q7-style tail-lights at the rear with chunky but neat proportions. Inside Q5 the people will feel like sitting in home.

Engine choices include a 208bhp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol unit and a 237bhp 3.0 TDI. But most Q5s will have the 168bhp 2.0 common-rail TDI diesel. This is smooth and torquey, with 350Nm from only 1,750rpm, and blends swift and refined progress with 42mpg economy.

Audi Q7

The Jumbo Size 4*4 Size off roader with extra sitting capacity and unique sitting style can make a lot of difference in SUVs . But the heavy sides and tall nose make it look big, massive and weighty, while its sheer size means the styling comes across as inept – BMW’s decision not to follow suit and build an equally large machine seems to be a clever move. There’s no denying it’s spacious – not even the Land Rover could match the Audi’s 2,040mm maximum load length, while the X5 fell 155mm short. The one-piece tailgate makes the area more accessible, too – were it not for the high load sill. Even with the air-suspension lowered, the boot floor is 830mm above the road, and when you combine this with the low roofline, the height of the cabin is limited. That hampers maximum load volume, and is also bad news for headroom.

The last seats are standard in the Q7, and they undoubtedly offer more knee clearance than the X5’s – although mature people will still be sitting with their legs splayed. Access is awkward, too, but more puzzlingly the middle row features a shorter, narrower and harder centre chair, which quickly becomes uncomfortable.

The Q7 range starts from £37,285, so it undercuts the X5. But both models have costly and extensive options lists – the extras added to our Audi raised the price by nearly £7,000.

Audi TT

Audi TT has become one of the ultimate fashion accessories of the 21st century, with stunning concept car design, legendary engineering and a great record for reliability.
Three years since its UK launch - and four after it first went on sale in Europe and the US the TT is still a head-turner. Its curvy styling doesn't appear to age, and the line-up offers panache, performance and practicality.

In driving terms, it's more touring car than hardcore sportster, but the VW Golf chassis and 4WD can handle most roads. The earliest models came here in 1998, but were grey imports. Left-hand drive only, they were popular at first, but have become much less so as second-hand right-hookers have become more widely available.
The TT holds its value well, so be wary of cheap cars. Most used examples are for sale in the dealer network, and buy these if you need peace of mind. But if you're after a bargain, then Audi specialists and private ads are the best source of keenly priced cars.

Audi S8

Audi S8 is an outstanding choice for the luxury coupe in the market with unique style look and class and has lower price than its competitors in the market. Many new features has been added in S8 like parking assistance system with rearview cameras, keyless ignition entry new packages included cold weather package with heating rear and front seats and built in blind spot and lane departure warning systems etc. The S8 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in the mid-5-second range and will effortlessly run at autobahn speeds all day long. A 450 horse power beauty can compete with BMW Alpina B7, Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, Maserati Quattroporte S with its Ferrari-sourced V8.
As such, the 2009 Audi S8 isn't the most obvious choice here. But perhaps one of the most convincing arguments for the S8 is its sticker price, as it comes in under $100,000 -- less than two-thirds the price of the Mercedes-Benz. "S" might not be the first thing one thinks of in the case of performance luxury sedans, but the oft-overlooked S8 offers plenty of performance value for the money.

Audi R2

The German giant Audi is coming with R2. VW has decided to come up against Porsche 911 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage with its stunning R8, the company is now planning a new mid-sized engineered model to take on the Porsche Boxster and Mercedes SLK.

The high-performance two-seater cabriolet is codenamed R2, and is being developed with VW. Audi’s sister firm is also believed to be putting the finishing touches to a production version of the Blue Sport concept car revealed at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show.

The mid-engined R2 gets an all-new chassis and suspension derived from the MkV VW Golf. A four-wheel-drive variant is also a possibility, using a development of the Golf R32’s Haldex system. Plus, there are rumors that a hybrid – with electric power driving the front wheels – is planned, to help Audi reduce the CO2 emissions of its range.

The engine line-up is certain to include a mix of 2.0-litre four cylinder and 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged petrol units. A diesel is under consideration, but it’s unlikely to be offered from launch. All models will offer a choice between six-speed manual and seven-ratio R tronic semi-automatic gearboxes.

Performance should be stunning, with power outputs ranging from 200bhp to a spectacular 380bhp. Top speed will be limited to 155mph, while the 0-60mph time is likely to drop below six seconds.

The R2 continues to develop Audi’s successful design theme as the tail-lamps of the new car will be sculpted to mimic the Q of its famous Quattro badge, just as they are on the R8.

A third rear brake light will sit above Audi’s badge, while the engine cover is to be kept free of aerodynamic extras. Instead, an underbody diffuser helps to improve the car’s stability at speed.

Audi S5

Audi's large coupe is back! After his S2 Left out from the market the German VW has launched the BMW 3 series coupes competitor, but now, the firm has finally given its popular TT a big brother -and it's hoping for similar sales success in the markets.

This S5 looks strong, though, with its subtle but aggressive body kit, LED daytime running lights - the same as those seen on Audi's R8 super car - discreet rear spoiler and chrome quad exhaust tips.

The front gets Audi's square grille and bold headlights; the rear is wide and purposeful, while the lack of any overhangs gives athletic proportions. But the curved front wings are at odds with the many straight edges, and the A5 isn't as cohesive as the TT.

Audi A5

The A5 is an inspiring metal machine. From distance, you can be grateful for the fine line that forms the car’s shoulder, and the wide roof that flows down into the tire's end. If anything, we think the raise is more successful than the broad edge, and the front end is only distinguished from other Audi's by the standard xenon headlamps with their dramatic LED running lights. Up close, the first thing you notice is how low the A5’s roof is. When you open one of the relatively short doors, it seems to have to dip much lower to get in. but inside, it’s a full four seater finally, it’s a return to a market Audi abandoned in 1996. Built on the Modular Longitudinal Platform that will strengthen the next A4, the Audi offers a fairly extensive range of engines, including the 3.0-litre plus a 2.7-litre TDI, a 3.2-litre V6 petrol and the superb 4.2-litre V8 S5. There’s just the single body style. Its arch rival is the BMW 3-Series Coupe – this car is a competitor to that model in absolutely every respect, and you know Audi has bench marked its Munich matching part to the nth degree. The Mercedes CLK and Peugeot 407 Coupe are the other competitors of this car.

Audi A6

Competitors of Audi are trying to put many efforts as much they can but the problem is that they cannot tap up with the upcoming Audi's models which are unique outclass fully up to date and technology oriented in nature so its very difficult to beat them.
And the attractive looks (even the controversial front grille is growing) haven’t come at the expense of the packaging. At 546 liters, the boot is bigger than the E-Class’s, while rear seat space is bountiful although the raised center rest on and big transmission tunnels mean all four cars are limited to carrying four, rather than five, in comfort.
The A6 has the best cockpit. While the toggle gear isn’t as logically laid out as in the Volvo or Merc, the adventurous design creates an unrivaled sense of occasion. You do sit a little high, though sticking with manual seats rather than our test car’s electric items might help matters. And that’s not just the end about Audi it’s the start.

Audi A8

The A8 has the head to head competitor launch of Audi to Mercedes S Class and BMW's 7 Series it has leather seats and dual-zone climate control to satellite-navigation and a CD changer. Front seats, seat belts and door mirrors all adjustable electrically and have memory settings. The A8 is a simple, superbly built and remarkably refined luxury car, with full performance from smooth V8 engines and a airy cabin.

Its drive can be too fine for some, lacking the on-road presence of a Mercedes S-class or BMW 7-series. Running costs will be high in comparison with Audi.

The 3.0-litre diesel's healthy 332lb ft of pull is delivered from just 1400rpm, so you're never stuck for a kind slice of overtaking power plus 33.6mpg is a great bonus with it. So never ride this beauty without a Seat Belt…!!!

Audi A4

As a consumer what is your opinion about that an A4 got that a 3-Series or C-Class hasn't? The answer is subtlety. It's not as smooth as the BMW or as solid as the Mercedes, but the well proportioned Audi looks great value for money. Now nine years old the A4 still feels fresh, and although rear legroom and luggage space are poor.

The diverse engine range starts with the underpowered 1.6-litre, and goes up to the blistering 265bhp S4 Quattro. Go for a turbo diesel in SE trim from 1996 on and you've got a peach. Despite Audi's reputation for quality, the A4's mechanicals need checking, while servicing and spares aren't cheap.

The Audi A4 has given all the possible good looks which a car must have in it and that’s the quality Audi is maintaining that they are providing the state of the art modern technology LED Lights introduction into its models.

Audi A2

Quality doesn't come cheap. If you need proof, look no further than the Audi A2. The baby German is smaller than a Citroen C3, yet prices start at more than £13,000 for the entry-level model. The Audi's new move has inspired his competitors to jump into the compact cars and downsized cars to compete with the Audi and the changing environment.

The Audi is a design masterpiece. Built entirely from aluminum, which keeps weight to a lowest amount, the A2 is freezing enough and also precedes excellent fuel economy, with an impressive combined figure of 66mpg for the commended 1.4 TDI diesel models.
As many buyers are moving to the car from bigger Audis and similar executive models, specification levels are high and most of the A2s on the market are SE trim at least. Interior fitting and finishing is as good as you would expect from Audi, and there's enough room to seat four adults with a modest amount of luggage with comfort.

Build quality is excellent, and the A2 has a fine reliability record so far. It's nearly three years since the car was launched and used examples are being offered for sale in greater numbers - so is now the right time to pick up one of life's little luxuries?

AUDI ‘S GREEN BABY

The German giant VW is working on the most beautifully formed ever, Auto Express has learned that the German firm is planning a new city car – and it will be based on VW’s ultra-economical micro-machine.

The new baby merges fuel economy and style never seen before from Audi. It will share nearly all its keystones with the VW, while maintaining the insignia appeal and executive air that buyers have come to expect from the four-ringed brand (Audi).

Bosses had previously hinted at the odds of a small car, and speculation suggested it would be based on the same platform as the A1 concept, first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March. But now it has come to light that the platform will be shared with the up! – Which will also spawn a raft of other models from fellow VW Group brands Skoda and SEAT.

Audi’s new car will rival top-end versions of the Ford Ka and Fiat 500. As you can see from our pictures, the model adds a distinctive body to the chassis of the up! with a gaping grille, neat headlamps, beefy wheel arches and a sculpted rear end. But the most innovative move – and potentially the model’s biggest selling point – is the choice of ultra-economical power plants. Engineers at the VW Group are working on a pair of 600cc two-cylinder turbocharged units – one diesel and one petrol unit.
